8. Signpost (wegwijzer):

A Zambian complex of buildings exists only if it has a signpost. Ours is cylindrical, bearing all names of the buildings that participate in our project. Meanwhile the signpost also functions as a communal bench and as the ideal meeting point. Of course, its official purpose is to indicate to passers-by the location of the several buildings. In Zambia street names and numbers simply are non-existent. Somewhere around 2009 the Zambian committee added a heart with a greeting text to the post.
