14. Chicken farm (Kippenfarm):

The chicken farm is a project of two volunteers: Mike and Sanne. This subproject also is intended to support the financial independence of the villagers. The eggs coming from the farm were partly used to feed the orphans, while the surplus was to be sold. The size of this project (40 hens) however turned out to be not the most profitable. We, together with the trade school, are thinking of starting a comparable project but on a far greater scale.
